Highland Middle School
Liz had the opportunity to go speak to the kids at Highland Middle School and talk to them about Peer Pressure. What a lively bunch! They were very responsive when they talked about how to make worthwhile choices and how important it is to set goals at their age so they can help themselves in the future! They also talked about how fame fades and someone like a sibling, parent, teacher, coach, etc. are the people who truly make difference in their lives and will leave an impact on them forever! Liz felt good about the presentation and said, "These kids are truly awesome and inspiring to me. I know it sounds a little cliche but I'm learning more from them than they are from me. It's such a fun opportunity to surround yourself with youth!" Way to go Liz!
